Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and presentation standards Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during service hours Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks Ensure all food is stored correctly and waste is minimised through proper handling procedures Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service

Experience

Previous experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards is advantageous Experience with meal preparation and food safety practices is desirable Familiarity with serving in a fast-paced setting will be beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
