As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dishes that delight our guests while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Help with inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting shortages.
Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
