Responsibilities
Prepare, cook and serve high-quality meals according to the restaurant's menu and specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency in food quality.
Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment as a cook is preferred, we welcome enthusiastic individuals willing to learn.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary skills is advantageous.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is highly desirable.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
