We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Chef you will play a vital role in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals while ensuring that food safety standards are strictly adhered to. This position requires a strong culinary background, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and portioning. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all utensils and equipment are properly cleaned and stored. Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers. Help train new kitchen staff as needed, sharing knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and meal presentation. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen setting. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
