Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to specified recipes and presentation standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work station throughout shifts Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Assist in plating and garnishing dishes to ensure visual appeal Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Monitor stock levels and notify management of any shortages or supplies needed Support the team during busy periods, including meal preparation and serving when required

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant setting Knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 37,000.00-45,000.00 per year
