We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are not only delicious but also presented beautifully. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to maintain food safety standards and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food is served.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Participate in training new kitchen staff as required.
Skills
Proven experience in meal preparation and food preparation within a restaurant setting.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
