We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are followed meticulously. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning duties at the end of shifts.

Skills

Proven experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
