Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Assist in food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and portioning ingredients. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards throughout the kitchen. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: 31,000.00-33,000.00 per year
