Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presentation standards Support the kitchen team during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold a safe working environment Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team atmosphere and optimise workflow

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant setting Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary principles Previous kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences and attention to detail
