We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest quality and served promptly to our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high quality and consistency. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Assist in meal preparation for special events or large orders as required. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service times. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report shortages to the kitchen manager.

Experience

Previous kitchen experience is essential, preferably in a restaurant setting. Culinary experience or relevant qualifications in food preparation are highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is required. Experience in serving or customer-facing roles is an advantage but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role.
