Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring that meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests while adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices. Assist in meal preparation and contribute to menu planning as needed. Maintain an organised kitchen environment, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Clean and sanitise workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly throughout the shift. Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
