To work under the guidance of the senior chefs to help prepare and cook food to the highest possible level of quality and presentation.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure that the highest possible standards of food preparation, presentation and service are achieved.
To assist in the ordering of supplies necessary for the food operation, bringing to the attention of senior chefs any items missed or overlooked.
To ensure all food and sundries are checked on delivery and stored in a correct manner.
To work effectively with all chefs to ensure portion control and that waste is kept to a minimum.
To ensure that all food hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained and documented.
To bring to the attention of the Head Chef and/or Managers any issue beyond the scope of your activity that requires rectification or change
To work effectively as part of the Wortley Hall team to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
To continually develop yourself and others in your role at Wortley Hall and seeking wherever possible to improve service to customers
