We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef De Partie/Senior Chef De Partie to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head Chef in the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food production and presentation. This position requires excellent team management skills, and a commitment to food safety and quality.
Duties
Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and food preparation, ensuring all dishes are executed to perfection.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production and service.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Help train new kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and hygiene practices.
Collaborate with the team to develop innovative dishes that enhance our restaurant's offerings.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain seamless kitchen operations.
Ensure that all food is prepared according to recipes and presentation standards set by the Head Chef.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and hospitality standards.
Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
