to work within our Cantonese Restaurant overseeing a team of F&B Attendants and reporting to the Assistant Managers and Supervisors. On the ground floor, Canton Blue, the hotel's innovative Cantonese restaurant, will celebrate the spice-trade union of Asian and British cultures with menus of creative dishes, along with cocktails, and artisanal teas. This position will have a great passion for service and be able to translate this into a special guest experience.

Key Accountabilities
Perform a friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive service in greeting, seating, and waiting on all guests.
Understand all food and beverage items ordered, including ingredients, methods of preparation, and proper service. Focus on the sequence of service standards.
With excellent knowledge of food and beverage items, you will also ensure you both attend relevant training and then deliver and train the F&B Attendants.
General Requirements
Good knowledge of food and beverage with an emphasis on wines.
Experience of 1 year or more within the food and beverage department in a luxury hotel and an understanding of the 3 main meal periods and demands.
Friendly and positive with a flexible approach and confidence to guide a team.
Ability to work under pressure.
