Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and performance.
Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary while minimising waste.
Prepare high-quality dishes consistently, demonstrating excellent cooking techniques.
Maintain relationships with suppliers to source the best ingredients for menu items.
Skills
Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen setting.
Strong background in food production and preparation techniques.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
Extensive culinary experience with a passion for cooking and hospitality.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
