Duties



Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Oversee food safety practices and maintain hygiene standards within the kitchen Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients Monitor food presentation and ensure consistency in taste and appearance Train new staff members in food preparation, safety procedures, and service protocols Collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional dining experiences Develop new menu items in line with current culinary trends and customer preferences Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Skills



Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment Extensive knowledge of food production, cooking techniques, and presentation skills Strong team management abilities with leadership qualities to motivate staff Expertise in food preparation, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently Solid understanding of kitchen operations, including food safety regulations Previous restaurant experience demonstrating versatility across various cuisines Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure Good communication skills for effective team coordination and customer interaction Experience in hospitality settings with a focus on serving customers with professionalism
