Responsibilities

Manage inventory and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations. Develop new recipes and menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer feedback. Monitor food presentation and portion control to enhance guest satisfaction. Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss menu changes, special events, and kitchen operations.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary trends. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes that delight guests.
