We have a position open up for 2 days a week working back to back with our Head Chef.
Currently the hours are 0900 to 1730.
The Chef prepares the menus, taking special medical, ethnic, and religious needs and personal preferences of the residents into account.
Preparing meals and other consumables for residents and staff as required, paying particular attention to resident's dietary requirements.
Arranging staffing in kitchen including staff rotas.
Ensuring that the kitchen area and meals provided conform to relevant regulations.
Ensuring all Health and Safety Acts are complied with.
Budget, stock control and ordering.
Must hold minimum SVQ2 qualification and Food Hygiene Certificate.
The successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check, prior to confirmation of employment.
