Overview


We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely service Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations Manage food production processes to optimise efficiency and minimise waste Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction Develop new menu items in line with current culinary trends and customer preferences Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to ensure availability of ingredients Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely

Requirements



Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a professional kitchen environment Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Strong background in food production, culinary arts, and restaurant operations Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment Previous experience working in hospitality or restaurant settings is essential Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Passion for innovation in cuisine and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences Relevant qualifications in culinary arts or hospitality management are preferred
