Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality across all menu items Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and proper storage procedures Lead the team in food preparation, cooking, and plating to meet customer expectations Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards

Experience

Proven experience in a professional kitchen setting, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality environment Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively Strong background in food production, culinary techniques, and food safety standards Knowledge of restaurant operations, including serving procedures and customer service excellence Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure Experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management is essential for success in this role
