We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant operations, food safety, and a flair for creativity in food preparation and production. As a Chef, you will lead the kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation while fostering a positive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards. Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques and best practices. Develop new recipes and menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and ensuring it is in good working order. Foster a positive team environment by promoting teamwork and open communication among staff.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant setting or similar hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and manage a diverse team effectively. Proficient in food preparation techniques and production methods. Creative flair for developing new dishes that appeal to guests. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
