Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and professional development. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain stock. Conduct regular training sessions on cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques. Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of cooking. A solid understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
