Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food presentation, and service standards. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste. Stay updated on industry trends, incorporating new ideas into the menu offerings.

Experience

Proven experience in a Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques. Previous supervisory or team management experience is essential. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is required. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. A passion for cooking and creativity in menu development is highly desirable. Experience in high-pressure kitchen environments is an advantage. Pay is subject to experience/ competence in the role. Pay: 31,000.00-35,000.00 per year
