We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef for the pub to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Oversee food production processes, ensuring efficiency and quality control.
Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely serving of meals.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.
Train new team members in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times.
Develop new menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating current culinary trends.
Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining high standards of food presentation and taste.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
Skilled in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
Experience in team management and staff training.
