What we need from you:
Produce and maintain consistent food quality across all stages of preparation.
Follow HACCP and all Food Safety Management procedures, cleaning schedules, and daily paperwork.
Ensure hygiene, quality control, and attractive food presentation.
Prepare and cook high-quality, cost-effective meals, including dietary-specific dishes, minimising waste.
Contribute to menu development and stock rotation, ensuring correct use-by processes.
Work with the Restaurant Manager to support smooth meal service.
Assist the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations and equipment care; report repair needs.
Ensure areas are ready for all functions and participate in staff meetings, Training Days, and team briefings.
Support identification and development of staff training needs.
Other:
Able to work flexible work patterns, including bank and public holidays, weekends and evening shifts as required according to a rota.
