We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, while leading a team of kitchen staff to deliver an outstanding dining experience.

Duties

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient working environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and presentation meet our standards. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen. Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service skills. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods. Assist in the planning and execution of special events or catering services as required.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene. Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring others in the kitchen. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments. A genuine passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-12.75 per hour
