Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food production and a strong background in kitchen management. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes while ensuring that all food safety standards are met. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities



Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Oversee food production processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Lead and train kitchen team members in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and proper equipment usage. Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste. Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines and regulations throughout all stages of food preparation and serving.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management and leadership. Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management. A passion for culinary arts, creativity in menu development, and dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
