We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of food production
Manage food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Oversee food inventory, order supplies, and maintain stock levels to meet operational needs
Monitor kitchen cleanliness and organisation, ensuring a hygienic environment is upheld
Collaborate with management on menu development, special events, and catering requirements
Train new team members in food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards
Serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, and customer service within the hospitality environment
Experience
Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience in a busy kitchen environment is highly desirable
Strong background in food production, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations applicable to the hospitality industry
Experience in food presentation and serving is advantageous
Previous involvement in menu planning and development is preferred
