We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient teamwork and adherence to organisational standards
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards
Oversee food production processes, maintaining consistency and presentation excellence
Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene practices and storage procedures
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative ideas
Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory to minimise waste
Ensure the kitchen operates smoothly during service hours, coordinating with front-of-house staff as needed
Train new staff members in food preparation techniques, safety standards, and customer service expectations
Experience
Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience is highly desirable, demonstrating leadership capabilities in managing teams
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary trends
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
Experience with food production processes and maintaining high-quality standards under pressure
Previous experience serving customers or working within a hospitality context is advantageous
Ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and foster a positive work environment
