Local Restaurant in Kingston Fresh Food Operation*

We are looking for an enthusiastic chef to come and join our team. The successful candidate must be passionate about food and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen. We serve a range of food styles, our most popular being brunch. We are looking for hard-workers, calm under pressure who are comfortable with an open kitchen with a chef's table.

The capacity of the site is 38 covers inside and an additional 12 outside. Open for brunch in the mornings (6 days a week), serving a simple lunch menu and then open Thursday - Saturday in the evenings with a full evening menu.

Presentation and creativity are really important to us. You will have a chance to work as a team to create some fantastic dishes. We need someone comfortable working solo.

Park Brew and Kitchen is now in it's 2nd year and was set up by founders Josh and Frankie Kearns of The Park Brewery Ltd, which is an established independent craft brewery based in Kingston upon Thames.

Duties include-

Cleaning and organising the food preparation area Prepping the dishes according to our specifications and standards Monitoring the kitchen area and the staff to ensure sanitation standards are maintained Ensuring all food products to be prepared are not expired
Also-

In-depth knowledge of the kitchen's routines and utensils Ability to grasp and follow instructions Knowledge of food preparation methods and presentation Knowledge of how to maintain and care for culinary utensils Diplomatic and conflict resolution skills Leadership skills Ability to work under pressure through rapid deadlines

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
