Responsibilities
Join the leadership of the kitchen and supervise the team to ensure efficient food production and service.
Prepare, cook, and present
fun dishes
according to established recipes and standards.
Get creative! Bring new dishes to the table.
Oversee food safety procedures, hygiene standards, and proper storage practices in compliance with health regulations.
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimise kitchen operations.
Train and mentor junior staff to enhance their culinary skills and professional development.
Collaborate with management on planning special events or customised menu offerings.
Maintain a clean, organised, POSITIVE, and safe working environment at all times.
Skills
Proven experience in food production within a professional kitchen environment.
Good leadership qualities with previous dynamic team experience.
Excellent skills in food preparation and presentation.
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
Exceptional organisational skills with an eye for detail in menu planning and stock control.
Good communication skills to effectively take the team through busy services.
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a budding or experienced culinary professional to showcase their talents as part of a dynamic team in an exciting setting.
