Chef
Job Description
4-star hotel in the heart of Leicester requires an experienced Chef to join their team. The rate of pay is dependent upon previous experience and negotiable.
The ideal candidate must have experience in running a section, and be able to demonstrate productivity through their approach to prep and ensuring their section is ready for next service.
Food service is a mixture Restaurant, Bar, Events, Weddings, Meetings, Breakfast and Afternoon Tea.
This role requires:
Ability to follow all food safety, H&S and hygiene standards
Exceptional food quality standards
The very highest food preparation standards
The ability to deliver the very highest presentation quality with a full fresh food menu
Must work well with the team and be able to delegate effectively if required so by the head chef
Positive attitude, calm approach and takes pride in their work
Ability to work on all kitchen sections
Good training/coaching skills
A desire on continue to learn and develop
Provide assistance with menu development if required by the head chef
A passion for great food
Work closely to support the FOH team
Experience in a similar role is required
Salary will be based on age and experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour
