We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a background in food production and preparation, with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively. Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative environment.
Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food handling, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock of ingredients.
Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Supervising experience with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members.
A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
