Overview


We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead culinary operations and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. A background in hospitality and restaurant environments is essential. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen activities, developing menus, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and guests.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Oversee food safety protocols and maintain high hygiene standards within the kitchen environment Manage food inventory, order supplies, and control stock levels to minimise waste Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends whilst catering to customer preferences Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Monitor kitchen operations to uphold quality control and consistency across all dishes Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Experience



Proven experience within a professional kitchen setting Experience in food production and restaurant service is essential Demonstrated expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills Familiarity with food safety standards recognised within the hospitality industry Previous experience working in busy restaurant environments or similar establishments is highly desirable Knowledge of current culinary trends and innovative menu development is advantageous

Includes weekend and evening work. Would consider two part time chefs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-14.21 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 37 per week
