Job Summary
We are seeking a Chef to assist with our culinary team in delivering exceptional brunch dining experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, maintaining high standards of food safety, and managing kitchen operations efficiently. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Supervise kitchen staff, including training and mentoring team members to ensure high-quality food production
Manage food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
Develop new menu items in line with current culinary trends and customer preferences
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment in accordance with hygiene standards
Monitor portion control and minimise waste to optimise efficiency
Qualifications
Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting
Supervising experience with a track record of leading successful teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary hygiene
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, motivation, and high performance
Experience in food preparation, restaurant service, and hospitality industry standards
Demonstrated ability to innovate within the culinary field and adapt to evolving customer tastes
Previous experience serving as a Chef or similar role is highly desirable
