Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures. Develop new menu items and contribute creative ideas for seasonal offerings.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring junior staff. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
