Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations and manage food production processes. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned regularly. Address any customer feedback or concerns regarding food quality or service promptly.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen management practices. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management and training. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes that delight customers.
