We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a proven ability to work as part of a team effectively. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation and production, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Bennett's is only open during day time hours, we close at 5pm everyday so you can enjoy a much better work life balance - no late nights!

Duties

Assist the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals. Develop and implement innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends. Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to in the kitchen. Manage food production processes, including inventory control and waste management. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor kitchen operations to maintain efficiency and quality standards. Assist with ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels as required.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others. A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
