We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
Prepare a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality across all menu items
Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and allergen controls
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure timely serving of meals
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their culinary skills and knowledge
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
Contribute to menu planning by suggesting innovative dishes and seasonal specials
Qualifications
Proven experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills
Excellent leadership and team management abilities
Sound understanding of food safety regulations and standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Previous experience in food production, culinary arts, or hospitality is essential
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
