Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian cuisine, particularly in tandoor cooking and curries, as well as a passion for creating delicious vegan dishes. You will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, menu development, staff management, and ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Create and innovate the menu, incorporating traditional and contemporary Indian dishes.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen.
- Control food costs and inventory management.
- Collaborate with management to enhance customer satisfaction and restaurant profitability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef in an Indian restaurant, with a strong focus on tandoor and curry dishes.
- Knowledge of vegan cooking and the ability to create appealing vegan menu items.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Passion for food and a commitment to high-quality cooking.
- Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications are preferred.
