Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food production and preparation, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their culinary skills. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current food trends while maintaining the restaurant's vision. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste through efficient food management practices. Maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and encourages creativity among staff members.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting, with strong culinary skills. Supervising experience is essential, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Solid knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen operations. Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creating diverse dishes that delight guests. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Exceptional leadership qualities, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and respect within the team. Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, and serving is highly desirable.
