Responsibilities



Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service delivery Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation in accordance with established standards Develop and implement creative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Manage inventory, order supplies, and control stock levels to minimise waste and optimise resources Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to promote professional development and teamwork Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction Monitor kitchen operations for quality assurance and continuous improvement Ensure compliance with health and safety policies across all kitchen activities

Requirements



Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience with the ability to lead a diverse culinary team effectively Extensive knowledge of food production, preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene regulations (HACCP certification is desirable) Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure Leadership qualities with a focus on team management, motivation, and training Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management Previous experience in menu development, food innovation, and service excellence is preferred A passion for culinary arts combined with a professional attitude towards hospitality service
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
