We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead culinary operations in a dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional food experiences. This role involves overseeing kitchen activities, managing food preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The Chef will play a pivotal role in menu planning, team management, and maintaining efficient kitchen operations to provide outstanding service to our guests.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations Develop and implement innovative menus tailored to our restaurant's concept and guest preferences Oversee food preparation, ensuring consistency, presentation, and quality standards are met Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment Coordinate catering events and special functions with attention to detail and guest satisfaction Train and mentor team members to enhance culinary skills and promote a positive work environment Monitor shift management to optimize productivity and service efficiency Collaborate with management on menu development, pricing strategies, and operational improvements Oversee food handling procedures and ensure adherence to health regulations

Skills



Extensive culinary experience across various cuisines with fine dining expertise preferred Proven banquet experience with the ability to manage large-scale food production for events Strong leadership skills with prior supervising or team management experience Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience in the dietary department is advantageous Expertise in food service management, including inventory management and control Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices Experience in restaurant management, catering, and hospitality settings Ability to oversee menu planning, shift management, and food safety protocols Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food handling and inventory control Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse culinary team effectively
