Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations in accordance with industry standards.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary.
Experience
Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is required.
A background in menu development and creativity in dish presentation is highly desirable.
