Job Introduction

As Chef Manager, you will lead the full catering operation at your school, ensuring excellent food, service, and team performance. You'll bring creativity, strong leadership, and a passion for fresh, sustainable ingredients to help set new standards in school catering.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the catering team to deliver a consistently high-quality dining experience. Oversee the preparation of fresh, nutritious meals and support ongoing menu development. Provide guidance, coaching, and training to all staff. Manage stock, food, and labour costs, ensuring strong financial performance. Drive sales through monthly promotions and added-value events. Build positive relationships with clients and customers. Ensure full compliance with company procedures and legislation. Conduct regular audits to maintain high standards across the kitchen.

Ideal Candidate

A positive, natural leader with team management experience. Strong craft-based cooking skills using fresh ingredients. Knowledge of kitchen Health & Safety and food hygiene. Financial understanding of gross profit and sales targets. OND or HND qualification (preferred).
