We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef Manager to oversee our kitchen operations and lead our culinary team. As a Chef Manager, you will be responsible for managing food production, ensuring efficient kitchen operations, and delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities



Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure high-quality meals are consistently produced. Develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service standards. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage food waste effectively. Maintain records of food production and costs to assist in financial planning.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while promoting teamwork and collaboration. In-depth understanding of food safety standards and regulations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Previous experience in menu development and cost control is advantageous. A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences is essential.
