Duties
Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Lead and motivate the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Train new staff on food safety practices, and kitchen protocols.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
Experience
Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Strong background in food preparation and production techniques.
Demonstrated ability in team management and leadership within a kitchen environment.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
A passion for culinary arts and a desire to help others develop their skills in the kitchen.
