Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pan Asian and or sushi Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and possess excellent culinary skills to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation are consistently met
- Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and create new dishes
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as required
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a professional kitchen environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Understanding of food costing and portion control
- A passion for hospitality and customer service
- Relevant qualifications in culinary arts or a related field would be advantageous
