We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Responsibilities



Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service Prepare a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality in all offerings Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and proper storage procedures Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure timely serving of meals Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their culinary skills and knowledge Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations Contribute to menu planning by suggesting innovative dishes and seasonal specials Ensure all food served meets the highest standards of presentation and taste

Requirements



Proven experience in a professional kitchen, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations Ability to manage team dynamics effectively and motivate staff Experience in food presentation and serving techniques Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are highly desirable Passion for creating exceptional culinary experiences and continuous learning in the industry
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Work Location: In person
