We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance monitoring
Oversee food production processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality control
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste to optimise kitchen operations
Develop new menu items in line with current culinary trends and customer preferences
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning correctly
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant environment
Supervising experience with strong leadership qualities and team management skills
Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
Strong understanding of food production processes and culinary techniques
Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff
Creativity in menu development coupled with attention to detail in presentation
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
